The B&B Palazzo Soderini is in campo Bandiera e Moro, in the Castello District, the most authentic area of Venice, right near San Marco and just a few steps from Riva degli Schiavoni, where the water taxis to Lido di Venezia, the train station and the Piazzale Roma car park depart.
The excellent location of the B&B gives you the chance to visit Venice easily, walking along the calli and past the campielli to discover its real soul, hidden in the nooks and crannies where real Venetians still live among the historic shops and traditional bacari, the typical Venetian osteria.
San Marco | Just a ten minute walk from the B&B, Piazza San Marco appears before your eyes in all its glory with the golden mosaic of its basilica and its dizzingly high bell tower, el paron, offering breathtaking views of Venice and the Lagoon. Not far away, the Doge’s Palace charms visitors with its unique Gothic architecture and its extraordinary frescoed rooms, bearing witness to the grand history of the Serenissima, on exhibition and narrated in the rooms of the Museo Correr and the Doge’s Palace.
Just a few minutes from the nearby San Zaccaria water taxi stop, you will enter the amazing Grand Canal and its buildings that are reflected in the water, passing in front of the Punta della Dogana, under the Ponte dell’Accademia and continuing until Rialto among the kiosks of the merchants and along the Mercerie to do a little shopping and relax.
The Lido di Venezia, the sunset over the riva delle Zattere and lagoon tours that share the beauty of Murano, Burano and Torcello are some of the unforgettable moments that you can experience during your time in Venice…
Art & Event | The B&B Palazzo Soderini is located off the beaten path and the hustle and bustle of tourists, protected by the silent atmosphere of the Castello District and a short walk from the Giardini della Biennale d’Arte, the Arsenal and the water taxi stops that bring you to the Lido di Venezia in 15 minutes, home of the Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica (the Venice Film Festival) and the most important exhibition areas in Venice, like the Fondazione Pinault, Palazzo Grassi, the Peggy Guggenheim Foundation and Ca’ Pesaro.
